Hi, everyone. I wanted to wish you all a happy New Year from me at Obscurnema.com, and thank you all for sticking with me for another year. I had intended to have a review for you guys for the holiday, specifically of the film Last Night from 1998, but I have to be honest, I found that I didn’t have too much to say about it. That’s not to say that the film is bad, not at all, but I just found it to be one of those films that’s generally solid and executes its story (or stories, really) well, yet didn’t inspire much in me to write about. I would still recommend it, though, as I do think you’ll have a good time with it. Plus, David Cronenberg fans might get a kick out of him acting in this movie, though if they’ve seen Nightbreed, they’d probably know what to expect. I apologize for not having a proper review for the occasion, but the next film I’m covering should definitely inspire some discussion, so look forward to that. I hope that you all are doing well this end of the year, remember to stay safe and don’t get too drunk, but whatever you end up doing, I hope you all have a great New Year’s and I hope to see you all again next year. And hey, maybe throw on Last Night when you get home. It’s not a party film, definitely not, but it is cathartic in its own way.
